Forget about herding cats and dogs, superheroes are much more challenging. As everyone knows, it takes a superhero to manage a superhero. Enter Karen who brings order out of chaos in that ongoing come-as-you-are party called life.
Karen didn’t start out giving birth to policies, processes and business units at F,. She was a registered labor and delivery nurse who gave birth to people. It was there that she honed her considerable critical thinking skills in the ultimate life and death environment.
Karen then moved into the business world where she earned a black belt in Six Sigma which helped her improve efficiency and reduce waste within processes in various organizations. Along the way she served as a Director of Case Management and then became Director of National Utilization Management at a large health organization. Never to rest on her laurels, Karen implemented a national quality program and a software program for the national pharmacy division.
